Following the successful student rollout in October of 2025, this second phase extends Canva’s premium capabilities to faculty and staff, providing a shared creative environment designed for higher education and large organizations. Canva for Campus strengthens collaboration, streamlines content creation, and supports consistent, high‑quality communications across the UT community.

What’s New for Faculty and Staff

Canva for Campus provides premium Canva access for faculty and staff who create University‑related content. This environment goes beyond individual Canva Pro accounts by offering tools and safeguards designed specifically for institutional use.

Faculty and staff with access can:

  • Create professional digital and print materials such as course handouts, presentations, flyers, social graphics, reports, and instructional content
  • Use University‑approved brand kits, templates, and shared assets to stay on brand effortlessly
  • Collaborate in real time with colleagues using shared folders, comments, and version history
  • Access advanced features including Canva Docs, presentations, whiteboards, video tools, and AI‑assisted design, managed within an institution‑controlled environment
  • Sign in securely using Single Sign‑On (SSO) with University credentials
  • LMS integrations, including Canvas, Blackboard, and more
  • Dedicated customer support

Together, these features help UT Austin’s college/school/unit CSUs work more efficiently and support consistent branding across campus.
