IT Leadership Council

The IT Leadership Council (ITLC) at the University of Texas at Austin promotes and participates in collaborative campus decision-making focused on design and implementation of IT strategies essential to the University’s mission.

Examples of ongoing work include:

  • Central endpoint management adoption and improvements
  • Campus network modernization engagement
  • Information security and risk assessment process improvements
  • Incident management platform adoption and improvements

Business and Administrative IT Leadership Council

Business and Administrative IT Leadership Council's (BAITLC) provides strategic guidance and collective stewardship for enterprise and mission-critical IT supporting University business objectives. Its initial charge includes:

  • Shaping long-range technology planning, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Advising on standards, infrastructure, and enterprise IT services.
  • Anticipating technology trends and evaluating their campus-wide impact.
  • Ensuring oversight and accountability for both aging and emerging technologies.
  • Developing IT talent and leadership across the institution.
  • Driving collaboration among business and administrative IT units.
  • Fostering a strong campus IT community.
