We are thrilled to announce that Louise Nelson, a Principal Software Developer Analyst II for Enterprise Technology, has been honored with the 2025 Outstanding Staff Award. This prestigious award is a testament to Louise's remarkable career and her unwavering dedication to the University.

Louise's journey at UT spans over 26 years, during which she has consistently demonstrated her expertise and commitment. The implementation of UT Works provided a perfect platform for Louise to showcase the extensive experience she has accumulated over the years. Her ability to ask the right questions and get to the heart of any problem has made her an invaluable asset to the institution.

Beyond her technical prowess, Louise is a natural teacher and mentor. She has guided countless individuals through the IT Developer Community, sharing her knowledge and fostering growth. For the UT Works project, Louise created a series of instructional videos that were instrumental in facilitating design confirmation sign-offs and were also utilized in training design.

Louise's contributions have not only advanced the University's technological capabilities but have also enriched the professional lives of many colleagues. Her dedication and service to the University are truly commendable, and this award is a well-deserved recognition of her incredible impact.
