We are thrilled to announce that Avery Gilbert has won 1st place in the School of Nursing AI Challenge held on May 8th! Avery, a student from the School of Information, impressed the judges with his innovative AI-powered hierarchical agent system designed to optimize nurse staffing and enhance patient care.

His prototype, featuring a Supervisor Agent that coordinates Specialized Agents for shift scheduling, workload distribution, patient monitoring, and predictive analytics, showcased exceptional technical prowess and a deep understanding of healthcare needs. Leveraging real-time hospital data and advanced machine learning techniques, Avery's system promises to revolutionize resource allocation and proactive staffing solutions.

As the winner, Avery will now have the exciting opportunity to collaborate further with the School of Nursing to refine and develop a comprehensive solution package. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Avery's academic journey and highlights the incredible potential of AI-driven solutions in transforming healthcare.
