Transforming Our Campus
AI in a Day wrapped up on Thursday, November 13th, 2025—what an impressive experience!
225 people. One day. A complete transformation in how we think about AI at work. Thursday's AI in a Day wasn't just another tech event. It was a hands-on journey into how Microsoft Copilot is reshaping productivity across our campus, from automating the mundane to unlocking creative breakthroughs we didn't know were possible.
Presented by Enterprise Technology, Phygital Labs, and Microsoft, the event brought together faculty and staff from across disciplines. The day featured a powerful keynote from Becky Keene, CEO of Phygital Labs, on the power of strategic partnerships, and a featured presentation by Kenneth R. Fleischmann from Good Systems on responsible AI and ethics in higher education. But the real magic happened when attendees got hands-on with Copilot, learning to build their own agents and hearing from UT creators who are already deploying real-world solutions across Dell Medical School, McCombs, and Procurement Services.
From the opening keynote to the closing remarks by CIO Cole Camplese, one thing was clear: AI isn't just changing how we work, it's redefining what's possible for our campus community.
