AI Tools for every Longhorn
UT Austin has expanded access to enterprise AI tools through new partnerships with Anthropic and OpenAI, making Claude EDU and ChatGPT EDU available to the campus community. As one of the first research universities to provide both leading platforms to its entire community at no cost, UT Austin is committed to ensuring every Longhorn has access to the tools that are rapidly transforming the future of work and learning.

These services complement the University’s growing portfolio of AI technologies and provide students, faculty, and staff with access to some of the most capable AI Tools available today. This expansion also marks the retirement of UT Spark, our first-generation AI platform, as we transition to more powerful and scalable AI services.
Our goal is straightforward: to ensure every member of the Longhorn community can explore, learn from, and responsibly use AI in ways that advance teaching, learning, research, and operations. AI is not a replacement of human creativity, expertise, or judgment.
