Not sure where to start with accessibility? Ally can help. In this session, you’ll learn how to use Ally as your “co-pilot” to identify and improve accessibility in your Canvas course—without feeling overwhelmed.

We’ll briefly cover what’s changing with ADA Title II and what it means for your course, then focus on practical, high-impact ways to use Ally’s feedback, scores, and course report to make meaningful improvements. You’ll leave with a clear starting point and simple fixes you can apply right away.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Explain how Ally supports accessible course design
  • Interpret Ally scores and indicators with confidence
  • Prioritize and fix high-impact accessibility issues

Earn a Digital Badge. by attending a minimum of 5 sessions (Days 1-2), participating in the in-person Open Lab session (Day 3), and completing an Accessibility Checklist Download Accessibility Checklist.

Location

*Day 3 will be hybrid, with online and in-person (RRH 2.238) options to choose from. Lunch will be provided for participants registered for the in-person Course Accessibility Checklist session (11am - 1pm).
