Summary
In this session, you'll explore pedagogical approaches for custom AI chatbots that align with UDL principles, then get a hands-on introduction to building a tutor in UT Sage. We'll focus on how faculty curation, not the AI itself, does the work of humanizing the experience, supporting students in self-regulated learning with a resource designed for learner variability. You'll leave with practical strategies for configuring an AI tutor that reduces barriers and supports learner agency; no AI background required.
