Put your learning into practice with dedicated time and support to improve the accessibility of your Canvas course. This open office hours session is designed as a flexible, hands-on workday where faculty can review course content using the Canvas Course Accessibility Checklist and receive individualized guidance from the facilitation team.
Whether you’re updating headings and page structure, improving link text and images, reviewing PDFs, or working through Ally feedback, this session provides space to make meaningful progress in a supportive environment. Bring a course, a module, or even just one page—small improvements can make a big impact for students.
Faculty are encouraged to work at their own pace, ask questions, share ideas, and leave with practical next steps for continued course improvement.
Lunch will be provided for participants registered for the in-person session!
Earn a Digital Badge. by attending a minimum of 5 sessions (Days 1-2), participating in the in-person Open Lab session (Day 3), and completing an Accessibility Checklist Download Accessibility Checklist.
