Executive Director, Data to Insights (D2I)
Kathryn Flowers is the Executive Director of Data to Insights, where she oversees strategy and operations for a transformational initiative to facilitate data-based decision-making for executives at the University. Her 10-year career at UT Austin began at the Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life and included 5 years at Dell Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, overseeing departmental administration and large-scale federal training grants. Prior to UT Austin, she worked in a variety of nonprofits, including Texas 4000. She received her Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin in 2014 and her B.A. in Theater and Dance from UT Austin in 2010. Kathryn resides in Austin, TX, with her husband Keith Salas and their fraternal twin boys, Bernard and Mateo. She is civically active and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Board and on the Board of Directors for The Terry Foundation.
